Refunds & Cancellations
A 30-day money-back guarantee, cancel anytime, and your recipes are always yours to export.
Effective Date: July 9, 2026
Sharp Cooking is a paid subscription when the paid product launches (currently free during the public beta). Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. This page explains how refunds and cancellations work.
30-day money-back guarantee
If Sharp Cooking isn't for you, email us within 30 days of your purchase and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked. This applies to your first payment on a new subscription.
After the first 30 days
You can cancel at any time. After the 30-day window, cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep full access through the end of the term you've already paid for. We don't charge for the remaining time, and we don't pro-rate a refund for it — you simply keep what you paid for until it runs out.
How to cancel
Cancel anytime from the Subscription section of your Sharp Cooking account, or from the customer portal linked in any Paddle receipt. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current term, then does not renew.
How to request a refund
Email Hello@SharpCooking.com from the address on your account and tell us you'd like a refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method by Paddle, usually within a few business days.
What happens to your recipes
Cancelling never deletes your data. When a subscription ends, your account returns to the free tier: you keep full access to the first 25 recipes you imported — view, search, cook from, export, and share them. Any recipes beyond 25 are retained and locked, and are restored the moment you resubscribe.
You can export all of your recipes at any time, subscribed or not, from your account. Recipes you imported during the public beta remain accessible to you afterward — see our Terms of Service.
Renewals and billing
Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled. We send a reminder about one week before each renewal so there are no surprises. Prices are shown and charged in your local currency with any applicable tax included.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, Paddle handles billing, tax, and receipts, and its name may appear on your bank or card statement alongside Sharp Cooking.
